Currently massage is only available to people receiving regular Chiropractic care. The reason for this is that when the spine is subluxated/ misaligned, pressure is put on the nerves and nervous system. The brain reacts with a directive to the muscles to tighten in an attempt to keep the pressure off. We refer to this as muscle bracing.

If you go for a massage and all that is released is the bracing, the brain will recognise that the muscles are not doing their job and direct them to tighten again and with more intensity.

When we remove the need for bracing with the Chiropractic adjustment, those muscles can relax BEFORE we begin the massage. Then we are able to work on soft tissue that needs the massage and get you better results that last longer.
